Joaquín Beltrán is the creator of Speak Up America and author of the framework for a Green Zone Act, “A Green Zone Act to End Community Transmission of the Pandemic.” He is a first-generation Mexican-American, community organizer having organized for two successful presidential campaigns, a software engineer, Chair of the Regional Advisory Council for the NPR station, Southern California Public Radio (KPCC), and previously led advocacy efforts at EndCoronavirus.org at the start of the pandemic.

He built Speak Up America to make it easier to make your voice heard on the issues you care about. The software is engineered to automate each call and he pays for the cost associated with routing each call out of his personal funds so many others can easily contact their representatives and so we can continue making it easier to make people’s voices heard. Thank you for your support.
