Hi, I’m __________, and I’m calling to urge my governor to crush COVID-19 by implementing a green zone strategy. The fastest way to eliminate COVID-19 is through green zones. Green zones strategies have been implemented by countries such as Thailand, New Zealand, and Vietnam, and have led to safer regions with lower COVID-19 cases. In the Green zone areas, normal activity can be restored at the right pace. At the same time, in areas that need to get to green zone conditions, effective social distancing, testing, contact tracing, and isolation quarantine protocols for the sick from their households are followed. Additionally, implementing CT scans for testing can dramatically accelerate the process because of their low false-negative rates, immediate results, and widespread availability. I urge you to implement a green zone strategy and work with hospitals to increase CT scans for testing so we can crush COVID-19. Thank you.
